Move between preview releases without hiding compatibility risk.

  • Record the current us --version and generated app commit before changing tools.
  • Read the release notes for generator, agent-pack, runtime, and storage changes.
  • Regenerate into a temporary folder and compare structure instead of overwriting application code blindly.
  • Back up irreplaceable local data and test migration on a copy.
  • Verify offline reads, writes, reconnect, and shutdown after the upgrade.
